Hoarding affects many individuals and their families across the world. Hoarding can affect the health of the hoarder, their families and animals who are living in the environment.

Waste, clutter and sometimes bodily fluids can lead to an unsafe home and insect infestation. The thought of removing any items from the home can be deeply distressing and painful for the hoarder, and very difficult for anyone trying to help and support a hoarder with cleaning up.
