Undiscovered Death
Sadly, for a variety of reasons a death can remain undiscovered for some time. Often it may be that neighbours notice not seeing or hearing an individual for a period of time, or possibly noticing a horrible smell coming from a property.

As the death may have been undiscovered for a long period of time the hazards of a dead body will have increased and making the space safe again will be slightly more complex. Unfortunately blood and bodily fluids may have started to have an adverse affect on flooring and furniture, and may have attracted insects and pests.

At Spader we understand how traumatic an undiscovered death situation can be for all involved. This is why our service is compassionate, kind and discreet, and makes the process of dealing with the situation as stress free as possible.
Undiscovered death cleaning will firstly require access to the property. If the property is vacated by a recently deceased relative, the next of kin will need to arrange access to the property, usually providing the keys to gain entry. Upon entering the property, an on-site assessment will be carries out to identify what surfaces need to be decontaminated, items to be disposed of and which cleaning methods will be most appropriate to utilise.
Upon completion, we will be in touch to let you know that the property has been completely decontaminated and any waste removed.

What's the Process?
in the first instance for an undiscovered death clean up we will need to gain access tothe property. Once inside an assessment will be completed to identify what areas need to be decontaminated, or disposed of and the best methods to be utilised. We will keep involved parties updated thoroughout the process

We use appropriate PPE for safety and maintain strict safety protocols during the cleaning process. Any biohazardous, contaminated waste will disposed of safely. We ensure the property is cleaned thoroughly and disinfected throughout.
